Many children in urban areas are missing essential vaccinations, leaving them vulnerable to preventable diseases. To understand the enablers, barriers, and needs of parents, caregivers, and healthcare workers
concerning Routine Immunization services, we went on the field to do a rapid inquiry. We conducted rapid inquiries in Pune and Kohima to uncover the unique challenges faced by families and healthcare workers.

We aimed to create a context-specific and easily adoptable Human-Centered Design (HCD) framework based on community stories and challenges. HCD prioritizes people’s needs, resulting in practical and effective solutions. Our goal was to empower everyone involved—from frontline workers to parents to health officials—to increase
vaccination rates.
