All health services are designed, including the way they are operated, promoted and delivered. The human-centred approach (HCD) helps us improve the design of immunization services and promotions by focusing on how and why people engage, or do not engage, with these services. HCD helps us understand the underlying drivers and barriers for desired health-seeking behaviours and what we might do to improve uptake of services.
