Over the last decade, there has been growing interest and excitement across the global health sector — and
particularly among those donors, governments and organizations working on AYSRH — to reignite the way we
design and adapt programs to better meet adolescents’ and young people’s needs. One approach in the program implementer’s toolbox is HCD.HCD methods are often used as part of other approaches (such as behavioral economics, social and behavior change communication, market research, cultural anthropology, etc.), to better understand and design for users.
