MaqC is the Director of the HCDExchange, leading the strategy, team capacity, performance management, network, and net-worth growth. He is a seasoned executive, entrepreneur, and field builder with two decades of innovative transdisciplinary mastery in adolescent and youth development, social behavior change, sexual and reproductive health, gender and human rights advocacy. Applying design and systems practice, he has been leading and unlocking the power and potential of teams and communities throughout his illustrious career, including at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, UNICEF, LVCT Health and Development Dynamics, a Pan-African social enterprise he is a co-founder of. He has been a senior consultant on design research, policy communications and advocacy, program and investment design for the International AIDS Society, World Health Organization, Population Reference Bureau, USAID, and AMREF Health Africa. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Policy from Lund University, Sweden and an MA in communication and development from the University of South Africa, Pretoria.
